Lift pressure with snow blower

Ran into a slight problem lifting the snow blower. It wants to force own but not lift up. I changed coupler position and it did not help. All of the sudden it will work fine for ten minutes and quit again. Fluid level is half in the sight glass. No presence of ice in the system as it is stored in the unheated garage section. Just in time for two snow falls. I took the blower off and just using the rear blade . Any more snow and I will mount the loader. Hopefully it won't have a problem lifting the loader arms.

Is it front mount or 3 pt? What brand?

yea, need more info!
guessing it's front mounted as you are referring to the loader having an issue,
what tractor? blower?
it could be a coupler issue, or ice as you say, or some other restriction in the system
is there any chance you have the couplers in the wrong places? when was the last time it worked
correctly?

Its all john deere front mount. Rear hydraulic works fine. Had the couplers apart, cleaned, replaced, switched to the second function. ( top set up & down, lower left and right control for bucket ) Worked fine for the first three snow falls. Next venture is to put a pressure gage on the coupler to see what is actually happening. Also going to check the lift cylinder for function. Used the loader for three seasons, no problems with it what so ever.

Is it stored indoors? I don't know much about hydraulics but I know a build up of moist will give issues if stored cold. I am assuming the problem is with quick hitch cylinder. What does the hydraulic oil look like, milky? Assuming its the quick hitch, can you hook the quick hitch to the rear hydraulic outlets to test it?
