SNOWED? Since it's cold, here's a winter edition of life on the farm.

We had some big snows in 77 and 78. We had to use our dozer to push paths to go sledding.

The snow drifted as high as the roof on the lower chichen house.

One of Mom sledding with us. she was 52 in this picture.

We had a slight hill on the road in front of the house, and it would get packed ice, so we would sled there a lot, especially after dark.

In 78 the local bowling alley collapsed under the snow weight. We used our dozer to clear the road to our house, it had drifted so bad.

We would build snow ramps and see who could jump the furthest.

Been awhile since I posted, thought I'd add a couple pics.

The newest thing being produced is gas. This rig is currently drilling under the farm. fortunately, no pad on the farm, but is on a neighbors farm.

The baler I bought dad last summer, and the bales he did. Not bad for being 93 years old. bale spears bought from titan.

Today is Mom's 90th Birthday. This is her holding me on my 1st birthday (which is tomorrow).

Today would have been her 94th birthday. She passed away 1 July 2016.bday.jpg

A couple recent pics from the farm. Took dad my old rotary mower a few weeks ago. He even made some more hay since then.0922181547b.jpeg0922181511c.jpeg0923181314.jpeg

My first day of school.

The wood on the right, was the chopping block for chickens.

The metal ring on the post on the left, I'm pretty sure is still there.

The trees on the left are long gone, the sycamore tree behind me is still there.1stdayschool_IMG_0003.jpeg
