Welcome to TBN!

The true TLB's I would look at Kubota BX25 is small but tough, B26 next step up, then L45 a nice machine but once you get beyond the BX plan to spend over $30K. Also look for a low hour Kubota B21 probably for less than a new BX25. Also Mahindra MAX28 is in between the BX and B26 more or less, then Yanmar has a new line of TLB's too.

Look around and you can find them used for half of new price. What is your hauling capacity and truck/trailer plan?

ok cool I plan on Hauling with my 4x4Chevy avalanche (tearing it down and reinforicing the frame w/ subframe connectors & hitch w/ more metal as we speak)gonna buy a 8k rated 1400lb curbweight all alum car hauler tilt trailer... I'd like to stay around 6k to 6.5k total lbs tractor with tlb attachments about 4500 i dont wanna buy another truck rght now ! I have considered the b 21 and b26 (its heavy !) i cant decide if i really want the mid pto deck cap of the mahindra or bransion, deere, kubota, massey, yanmar, bobcat, koti, everybody is on the tabel..... a 60 or 72 mid mount deck would be nice for my yard ..i dont like the hassle of keeping many diffrent machines running tuned up ect so I'm thinking swiss army knife do it all model (knowing it won't do it all the bbest and getting a more homeowner type tractor with a mid mount PTO and a subframe mount backhoe ...also I would like to run rent out 5ft rotary cutter services so I think the b21 would be out right there ..?

Fireball,

The swiss army approach is a nice idea but if you want a true TLB that's tough to do. The B21 is 3900Lbs and the B26 just over 4000 so either one will work on your planned trailer/truck combination and you are on the right track beefing up your frame as I think you have 5000 or 5500 towing on your truck.

You wont get a MMM for a B21-26 machines, but you can with a BX25D - which is the Swiss army knife of SCUT's. And you probably would be fine with a 4' rotary on the BX25D. Total out the door new with everything around $20K new for the BX25D - MMM & 4' Rotary. On the other hand you can get a nice used B21 for $15, and B26 low $20s.

If you want a little larger non TLB the Kubota B3300 with BH is a nice machine and would run the 5' rotary and have a MMM too. That new is probably pushing $30K.

Then outside Kubota you have lots of good choices too.

Good Luck.
