YM2002 - I have a lever that is to the left of the float up/down lever - but it doesn't seems to do anything. I have moved it when the 3point is up and down. Also, thinking it was a "stop" have adjusted and then moved 3point up/down to see if it stops sooner - but nothing....

I believe it's your draft lever. Good for only ground engaging equipment.

Not familiar with your model but if it's like mine, it is called the draft control but it is not like a conventional draft control we normally think of. There is a cable that connects at the back of the tractor on the one end and a Yanmar tiller on the other end. By using the angle of the rear drag flap, it interprets the angle as depth. With it all connected up, the draft control will maintain the tiller depth fairly good.
