Just curious how this works.

I know there are some companies using sensors mounted on equipment for bucket position control but have not seen them as an add on.

I suspect it all comes down to how the sensors are positioned and calibrated to the machine.

Not much different than laser guidance since that is also bucket angle sensitive.

I'm familiar with the laser grading systems but they usually involve a laser level mounted on a tripod and shooting a beam that is picked up by a receiver mounted to a bucket, boom, boxblade etc. This seems to be something different.

It appears to be connected via blue tooth to a phone or tablet providing information on elevation or grade to the operator. Does not appear to be any connection to actual machine controls. Looks like you have to set multiple bases for feedback to unit on equipment.

Not sure but suspect GPS is also being used for location or position.

I also suspect GPS since there are multiple "receivers" involved. The 1" elevation detection is not comparable accuracy to a laser transit setup but would still be useful.

The ad says "no GPS or line of sight". Makes we wonder if its "precisely" measuring barometric pressure to detect changes in elevation and digital level measurement for reporting angles. Drones use barometric pressure to report altitude but I wouldn't think accurate to 1" of elevation.
