Did you take that picture off the roof?
Nice pictures guys!
I don't have stripes in my front yard, I only have straight lines from my wheels.... They look good, but I like stripes better.

What kind of striping kit do you all have ?
I've heard of people making their own also.
Thanks for sharing guys!
My beloved old Allis Chalmers has rollers built right onto the rear of the MMM deck. They work great.
Like Jimmy's, my mower deck has rollers across the back that give the stripe. Simplicity tractors are good for striping

Here's some better pictures of the rollers. It would not be hard to duplicate as long as your mower has room at the back.
(these are stock photos, not my unit)
Bill, good looking place you got there. I think your "stripes" look just dandy!
Actually I cut the lawn in a different direction almost every time. Years ago my wife took a horticulture course and they said to do that. We also cut it long, probably at least 2.5 inches or maybe even 3. It's slowly thickening up because the grass stays healthier that way. When we moved here, there was practically no grass and the soil is very bad.
Should we call the lines and stripes in the grass "gripes"??![]()
Jimmy & mark,
Since you have rollers on to make stripes... Do you cut your grass in the same path each time ?... The reason I ask is, you could end up with stripes & lines.![]()
