I have seen it in copper pipes and now plastic is the in thing.
I have seen it in res. telephone wiring and my alarm wiring. Almost like dealing with a coat hanger (even those are not what they used to be) compared to a twist tie, as far as copper thickness. Often, many conductors in a cable are not even being used. So does having high quality precious metals being used that are not even being used, make any sense?
