I bought this a long time ago. Skil model HD5510. It weighs about 1/3 of my wormdrive saw. It is called a trim saw, but does fine on framing lumber. Apart from being light, I like it because it has the blade on the same side as a wormdrive which is what I am used to. It is old enough that there is no interlock on the trigger. Not made anymore, I am sure the cordless saws did it in.

I love this model Skil and keep one on my service truck... it works well from my battery inverter something not possible with the worm drive.

Cuts panels and 2x material easily and like you said the blade placement makes it easy to follow a line.

Picked up a Rockwell Delta 42" belt sander today for $75.00 off of CL, works great and came with a box of 10 new belts. The plastic tension pulley has a small crack in it, I'll see what I can come up with as a replacement, but it works fine. Other than that, I'm very pleased with it.
