Hit the local auction and picked up a nice older HK Porter No. 5 bolt cutter for $18.00. It was fairly well seized up. I brought it home, hit it with some Marvel Mystery Oil, took it completely apart and wire brushed it real good. Put it back together and it functions good as new.

Found another older vise locally and picked it up for $77.00. It's another Athol, but it's after LS Starrett purchased Athol Machine. It appears to have never been mounted or used, just had light surface rust building up on all the bare metal surfaces. The top of the jaws still had factory paint on them. I took it down to my "messy" work bench and took it apart. After a little cleaning, wire brushing, lubricating and reassembly it looks pretty good for the price. The swivel base is unlike any of my others with a grooved locking mechanism. It locks up super tight with barely any effort. I think I'm liking this one better than my Wilton 450. In any event it has 4" jaws and opens up to around 8 inches.

Interestingly enough, the swivel base I was admiring so much is also found on the Athol Machine Co 5" vise I posted earlier in this thread. I looked up the patent date on it and look what I found;
