Here are some pictures of some of the lemons we got this year off our single tree. We got four laundry baskets so far. We will probly get two more. Next year I think I will fertilize more.

Also have my dog in one of the pictures. His name is Ruger. He was a stray someone found. We adopted him 2 weeks before Katrina. He has been the best dog I have ever had.

Now we just have to make some tea to go with all these lemons.

While writting this our neighbor called and said come get a Lemon Icebox Pie. She made it with some of those lemons. I took her some more. It is nice to have good neighbors.

Now I am gonna make some coffee for the pie.

Wow! That makes my mouth water.:) That is a beautiful harvest, and I couldn't help but notice the color-coordinated Vigoro utility wagon. I'm jealous!

Yeah nothing like fresh fruit and veggies. We are lucky. We bought this house and lot after my grandfather passed. He always had stuff growing in the yard. We have Lemons, Figs, Pecans, Persimons(sp), Pears and Peaches. We do pretty good except for the peach and pecan trees. The peach trees I do not think they get enough cold weather to bear fruit. The pecan trees this year had them on it but the squirrels ate a bunch and what the squirrels didn't eat were shriveled up when they fell.

AL_JOSH,

Need to add a Satsuma or two. Our small tree (~6" tall) on the other side of the Bay is so loaded this year, the lower branches are dragging on the ground. Have a feeling Katrina last year knock so much of the fruit off last year that more energy was available for this year's crop.
