lelft casing on the rear end Mitsubishi D1450 FD

A 3 point hitch was attached to the rear using the same bolts that attached the casing to the rear end gear box. The hitch rotated causing one bolt to break off and bending 2 others on the left side. The case housing is broken or cracked where the 2 of the bolts go.

How do I get the case off? Does the axle have a keeper on it? Can the case be welded? Do I need to replace the case? Where can I get one?

I'm not to great in the mechanic field but have a good friend who is and is willing to assist me if I can get information on the tractor.

The case will pry off. There is no clip inside holding it up. While welding is a possibility, you may want to consider replacing the case. Call 1-800-609-5110 for parts availability.
