Leinbach vs. Tractor Supply PHD

OK, I'm ready to buy a PHD. I priced the Leinbach locally and came up with $450 for the unit with a 9" auger. The TSC unit is $349 plus $99 for a 9" auger. Basically the same price. Any comments on the quality and durability of one vs. the other?

You may have purchased your PHD by this time but I'll post this anyway. I have the Leinbach and am very pleased with it. I bought it for about $350 locally. I have used it to put in 400 fence posts for a horse pasture and 6x6 posts for a run-in shed. There is just enough wobble to make the 6x6's a tight fit but they go in. I've got about 800 more fence posts to go for the next pasture and some more 6x6's for a pole barn. Good luck in your search.

I really wish other manufacturers would get a clue and make product
manuals available electronically. One good example of this is Worksaver
which does so for both operators and parts manuals.
