Leinbach Harrow questions

Just picked up a Leinbach harrow at yard sale. It is a disc with two rows of blades. Here is my problem. When attached to the 3 point and I go foward the blades closest to the tractor do not seem to dig in all that much. Yes, I have adjusted the top link. However in reverse the harrow willreally dig up the earth. Is this normal? Actually i did about 1/2 acre in reverse and it looks great. The harrow will turn earth in forward just not as much. I cannot see any other adjustments

Looks very similar. I think the model is 300-20 or something like that. Also, I see no way to adjust the angle. Always thought they were adjustable.

Any info is appreciated

Yes, I have adjusted the top link.

Try shortening the top link more and see if that helps. Keep at it untill both sets of wheels bite in at the same depth.

Jay I have this disc. It is adjustable. all you do is remove one bolt, slide the gangs to the angle of cut that you want then put the bolt back in. The disc in the picture is set about half way. The gangs can be adjusted straight or with more angle. The more angle put on it the more dirt it will turn, it will also be harder to pull. Hope this helps.
