Where do you get left threaded bolts and tap and dies when you need them? I tried the regular sources (HD, Lowes) with no luck so far.

Where do you get left threaded bolts and tap and dies when you need them? I tried the regular sources (HD, Lowes) with no luck so far.

These are normally specialized threads. I suggest you look in your local phone book (Yellow Pages) for fasteners (and similar words). If you're in fair sized city (or close to one), you should find a company dealing in specialized fasteners (in my area, it's Military/Industrial Fasteners).
If you're in a rural area, you may have to get the fasteners off the internet.
