Left turn on 2 lane. Stay in R/H lane or L/H to let cars continue on?

My worst seen example was on a highway that had a lot of blue ice when a 6 wheel dump truck drove like he was in a Civic weaving in and out and tailgating all the while.
He was so close that I could see his blue eyeballs.
LOL, I later saw him in the ditch!

I can just see moving to the left lane (several do it around here) and then the driver turns right. Asking the question to a HP officer at defensive driving class, person on the right will be at fault but both likely to be written up. Depends on arresting officer.

You gotta love instant karma. My favorite was when I was stuck in a long highway traffic jam due to the right lane being closed for construction.

The closed down lane still looked fine, and one guy decided to use it and zip ahead of everyone else. I caught up with him a couple of miles later. His car was disabled, because he drove into a large hole where a section of concrete had been removed.

Driving into town one night, car coming the other way made a u turn, sped up and got right on my a$$$. Freakin hemorrhoid stayed on me all thru town. As I was leaving town on other end, car did another u turn and sped up to get on someone else’s butt. Friggin cop.

I only read 3 pages of responses and cannot believe there are so many who answer A. What a bunch of whackos.

All circumstances require thought but doing something stupid is still stupid. Use your blinkers, always check the rear view before touching the brakes and at all times be aware of your 6.

I forgot who told me this but someone gave me the advice to look in the mirror every 10 seconds. It's a good idea but hard to do on a long day of driving.

My best 'instant karma' happened just leaving Spokane, wa on US2. Intersection coming up and lots of 'constructions signs, right lane cloaed etc. Every on pulls over in the Lane (2 lane each direction) up to a stop light. I was #4 in line. right at the beginning of the left turn bay. #5 pulls around me into that bay and waits at stop light - turns green, he floors it to cut back into the lane and the blue lights magically appear.

As I mentioned before, most traffic laws are merely enforced courtesy. If everybody followed the same rules the roads would be a lot safer. After reading this and a few of the other ongoing threads it's obvious that many don't even know the laws they are supposed to be following. That includes me, until last week I didn't realize that bicyclists are allowed on the sidewalks.
