Hard to beat an o/u for birds or clays.. I've got one ( 12ga) and love it for both.

Mornin Chris,
Its funny that when I read your post it jogged my memory just a bit ! I have always been an auto guy spelled 1100, but on occassion I used to shoot my buddies Remington 3200 o/u and I used to smoke those birds with that thing ! :) Like "thingy" used to say, it will kill the $#@& outta them there birds ! ;) Only drawback was it kicked like a mule, oh yeah and my shoulder hurt like heck after 4 rounds of skeet ! :) But a 20 ga o/u is probablly the best of both worlds.

Thanks Eddie,
I bought them through a gun dealer in Woodlake, about 20 minutes from my property. He had to order them in and then you know there is that lousy 10 day waiting period here. So I don't have them yet. I paid list for the Condor Supremes, $350 each. It was hard to find a dealer who could get them anywhere around where I live in Southern CA, so when he said he could, I went for it.
Here is a link to their website with pictures and description:
Firearms - Condor - Stoeger Industries

On Edit...
So there is no misunderstanding, when Loretta was shooting clays this weekend, she used my shotguns.
Browning 20 gage SxS
Weatherby Orion 12 gage O/U
Remington 1100 12 gage autoloader.
She does not have her gun yet but is itching to get it now.

Yes, without CCW.
Get this too...
My daughter lives in Georgia and has one of my O/U shotguns. I asked her to return it to me since she is not using it. She has to ship it from her local FFL dealer to my local FFL dealer. But I have to pay my FFL dealer a fee for the service ... no big deal. But then I have to get it re-registered to me??? And that cost another $25 bucks or so. What's up with that? It's already registered to me.

Looks like they use Benelli parts and are made at the old Barreta factory. Both are good names and from what I've been told, they really are a quality firearm at a reasonable price.

Morning' guys,
No, I have not shot them myself yet. But the guy I'm buying from has and he says it's very similar to a much higher end than some of the other low end guns. Plus, if you check their features, they are good.
Single selective trigger where others sometimes offer 2 in the low end.
Automatic ejectors vs extractors. Even the CZ you had to get the Redhead model to get that.
He also said it came better than the Mossberg O/U and was smoother to operate.
Just as pretty too...

"The Condor Supreme features a cut-checkered American walnut stock with a soft rubber recoil pad, and high-luster blueing on the receiver and barrels. The single-selective trigger and automatic ejectors make the Supreme perfectly suited for competition or hunting."

"All Condors feature a blued receiver sporting a high-polish and machine-turned monobloc sides. Recesses on the monobloc engage trunnion pins on either side of the receiver and pivot on them to allow smooth, solid and secure opening and closing."

"The Condor Standard comes in four gauges (12-, 16-, 20-, and .410) and features a blued receiver, screw-in chokes, ventilated rib, single trigger and an American walnut stock and fore-end. For proper balance, the Condor Youth comes with 22” barrels in 20-gauge and .410 bore. Screw-in chokes are available for the 20-gauge only."

"The Stoeger Condor Supreme comes with auto-ejectors for quick ejection of empty hulls and enables a faster reload of fresh shells."

I did see and feel one in person at another gun store. Shouldered nicely and the vent rib aligned quickly. Fetlt like great balance with the 26" barrel, it swings easily for Loretta. Wes's youth model I have not seen yet.
To me, they felt pretty darn nice and solid. I would hunt with one for sure. I hope the ones that Loretta and Wes get are just as good as the one I saw. I'm looking at a good bargain, I think, especially for a first gun for them.

If I like them, I may order a 12 gage for myself? They have a combo 2 barrel set with 12 and 20 gage barrels for about $200 bucks more.

"The Condor Combo is a 12/20-gauge, two-barrel set utilizing the same receiver, which offers the ultimate in versatility. Both the 28” barrel, 12-gauge and the 26” barrel, 20-gauge come with bead sights and screw-in IC and M choke tubes. Offered in two grades, the Field comes with A-grade walnut, and the Supreme with AA-Grade walnut. It would be difficult to find a better offer. Whether hunting ducks or quail you can now shoot the same gun in whichever gauge the sport calls for."

Clay,
I did check them out and they are nice looking indeed.
I found that the action was not as smooth as the Stoeger's. I imagine with a little ruby stone you can work them in though. The other thing is that their list price is almost $300 more than the Stoeger. I got 2 for the price of one Mossberg (almost). And for a first gun the Stoeger Condor Supreme O/U is pretty good. Beats the heck out of my first shotgun.

I posted this after seeing one in Wal-mart of all places, you made the right choice, that's a heck of a price. I was spoiled my first was a Winchester model 12. ( Still have it):) Clay
