I've had a small but nagging leak in a hydralic connection at the FEL joy stick since my TC18 with 12LA loader was new about 78 hours ago. I tightened it when I got it and stopped the drips, but the foot pan under the controller was always a bit wet. When I had it in for the 50 hour service the dealer tightened it some more. Still damp. Today, it started dripping really fast. I removed the line and then removed the fitting (had to remove another one first to get at it), and there was the problem staring me in the face - a broken O-ring. A quick trip down to Discount Auto, where I bought 4 O-rings just to make certain it never happens again (without a spare, it will always break again at the worst possible time), and the problem was solved.

The FEL was dealer installed, so I'll get to rag the mechanics pretty good when I get back there /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Hi Don,

Great to hear you got that leak fixed. It is very upsetting when you can't find the problem. Those O-Rings are sometimes a problem. I ,like you, have a few spares here at the house. Good Luck
