New Hollad TC25D
Hello, I have come here looking for help with a leaking injector pump on a New Holland TC25D. I runs pretty well, but the wife is disgusted with the leak. It can't be helping the tractor either. I am a retired Tool and Die Maker and worked part time, for 21 months, for a tractor repair shop/mechanic. I hate to shell out $500 plus for what may just be an O-ring issue. What lead me here was finding a post about a TC35 Leak. Even if I can't find help with the pump, I am sure that the wealth of knowledge here has to be of a great benefit from now on. Thanks for letting me play in your yard!:dance1:

Its definitely an oring..
Prob. the ones under the flange?? Theres a lot more to it than popping it up & replacing an oring.. actually theres 2 on each flange & 1 on the "top nut". {delivery valve holder}
Believe me, I do this for a living, but you can take your chances.
Send me an email if you'd like to get it done professionally.. for a lot less than $500.00..
Those screws holding the flanges down are tamper proof for a reason..

Hello "thepumpguysc", I do understand the complexity of the pump. I have the service and parts manuals for my tractor and have gotten the diagrams from Messick's and the post that lead me to TractorByNet in the first place. Yes, the "5-sided bolts" are a problem. I still can't believe that I could not purchase such a socket even on eBay! Anyway, I would appreciate an estimate from you to rework my pump. I do realize that would be a quote on your "bench fee" and could be higher depending upon work required. Currently I am waiting on a starter for my tractor and would be able to send the pump after I use it to cut our yard again. Thanks for any assistance and your initial response.

I have to thank "thepumpguysc". I had sent the injection pump and injectors to him on 08/31/2018 after confirming that he does rebuild injectors also. After a couple of conversations, by email, he had given me several options as far as the injectors go -- rebuild or buy new. I usually defer to what someone would do if they owned the tractor in question. So, yesterday I received the rebuilt injector pump and rebuilt injectors plus the necessary "crush" washers/seals for this. Everything looked great, can't believe the difference in the before and after of the appearance of the parts. Anyway, I got everything put back on, had to use 10" hemostat to get that little evil "CLIP" for the governor arm back on, just glad no one heard my language on that one. Later when it was running my wife came out and she commented on how much better the engine sounded! I have run the tractor for a while, but have not used it yet. I does sound better and I have not seen any leaks -- which was how this all got started anyway. I just want to thank Mike, "thepumpguysc", for his services and would definitely recommend him. I also want to thank TractorByNet, just the source I needed when I needed it.

I apparently have the same problem with a tc25d. Is it difficult to remove the injector pump and then have it fixed by an expert. Then install? Pumpguy are you close to charleston sc?
