Now that I look at these on my computer screens, it almost looks like a bad weld, not real sure.

While I was under there, I was engineering a guard for this, if it is a bad weld, I wonder if it really needs a guard

I guess I will make the call on trying to weld it after I get a price on a new one

OK, so last week I went ahead and ordered a new tube, earlier in the week before I knew the tube was cracked I had ordered o rings and a banjo bolt, so that if anything went wrong in the o ring replacement I would have a new banjo bolt.
They told me while ordering the new oil tube that it had changed part numbers (which always makes me a tad nervous) apparently they re-enforced the end that had cracked and attached a hanger bracket on it, from what the parts guy said they must have had a problem with the old design.

The tube arrived this morning, I got a phone call at 7:57 AM that it was in.

I drove into have breakfast and then pick up the oil tube, and they gave me a tech sheet on the new hanger installation.

Well......
They never mentioned that to drill the frame for the new hanger that you have to drop the left loader mount pedestal because the bracket falls between the frame and the pedestal.

I was not prepared to drop that mount so as of now the hanger has not been fastened to the frame, but at least it is not leaking

I took some pictures but they turned out terrible, I will attach one to see how it looks. If anyone wants to see any more let me know

Just curious and you may not want to share but I will ask anyway. What did that tube assembly cost?

~$140
With the redesign, I figured it would be worth it, but now that I wasnt able to utilize the hanger, not so sure.

Has anyone ever installed or removed one of the pedestals?

Heii I have never even removed my loader

Never removed the pedestal but remove and install my loader quite frequently. Takes about 10 minutes. I don't think the pedestal would be that hard to remove, especially if you had an impact.

I am curious what makes you want to remove the loader arms?
I change from bucket to forks quite often but never felt the need to take the arms off

I use my tractor for a lot of mowing and in a lot of tight quarters. Much better maneuverability without the loader sticking out there. And I don't have the quick attach bucket.
