I am having trouble with a leaking fuel filter housing. I bought a new filter and rubber washer because the old one was leaking a little and since the replace I am having the same issues. My question is does anyone have a hack for this to make the seal better? I really don't want to order a new glass housing.

It would be near impossible for it to be the glass. It doesn't rust, corrode or warp. I'm guessing it's something up underneath on that mating surface (assuming the glass faces down). Sometimes a piece of the old seal will stick. Are you lubing the seal? Are the threads that tighten everything in good shape?

It just seems like the washer that comes with the filter isn't filling the space. Is there anything that would work better than the rubber washer that came with the filter?
