Leaking differential fluid on Kubota?

I noticed some fluid on the rim of the right front wheel of my L3430 yesterday. It had the consistency and smell of hydrolic fluid, but I know very little about this. I took the wheel off and it appears to be coming out of the crack behind the hub. What do I do next? :confused3: Thanks in advance for any help in diagnosing the problem.

On my L5740, and several others with Grand L 40's on this site, that has been the first sign your outer wheel bearing has failed. If you have a loader, raise the front wheels off the ground and see if you feel any free play in the wheel. Mine was getting very loose when I spotted the leak. Front bearing failed but no other damage. I replaced the seal and both bearings plus the housing seal ring for about $90 plus 1 hour of my time

Thanks, that doesn't sound too bad. Tried the picture again, but each time get the upload failed message. Tried jpg and gif and reduce to less than 100kb, no success. So the fluid appears to be leaking out from behind the plate to which the wheel attaches. Is there a diagram somewhere to tell me what parts I need to order, or is it best to take apart and drive to the Kubota dealer?
