My L3010 has a sight glass to keep tabs on the hydraulic fluid level. It seems that the fluid is leaking from around the sight glass and accumulates all around the PTO and hitch. Does anyone know if it is easy to remove and reseal this sight glass?
Thanks

That is a good question for a (Kubota?) dealer.
As Soundguy writes, a pic would be nice.
While you're getting that picture, can you see any kind of nut or plate around the sight glass? Something removable?
I'm going to guess the sight glass is affixed on the inside of the case though and it's probably just an o-ring seal leaking.

New site glass is less than $10. Drain the fluid down past the glass (or park it downhill), pop out the old one, clean the area and put the new one in with some hi-temp RTV. It is just an o-ring seal but the new site glass will have one on it already.
Mine cracked on a L3600.

i figured it was just an oring seal issue.

If it's like the L2800 it screws out and back in. It has a flat rubber washer to seal it. Mine started leaking and didn't realize I could have tightened it up and probably not lost it because it came out.
