leaf vaccum help

my dad is giving me his older ez vac leaf vaccum, when he gets a new one, its the model that has 4 steel sides that slide together to make a square to fit in a lawn cart and it has a 5hp motor that has a mount to go on the hitch of the tractor, that allows the cart to be taken off seperate. my main ? is does the ez vac manufactorer still exsist? as this machine is about 25yrs old. it needs some hoses which i can easily get,the motor is basically new it only has about 3 seasons on it. it def needs a new cover that goes over the collection hopper, and also i would like to get a new chute for it that goes to the mower deck as the one we have for it now has seen better days after 25 yrs of use. i was looking for the chute assembly on line but can't seem to find one, i think trac vac makes them for most mowers and i could probably get one from them that would work. any info would be great thanks jim

Just about every leaf vacuum manufacture makes a good supply of chutes for their vacuum systems. Just contact them and tell them you want a chute for XYZ model, whatever. They might sell you generic chute that you can modify to fit. One of my chutes is plastic, and one is metal.
