I been trying to search for info on a pull behind leaf vac system and keep getting no results (tried leaf, vac, D&R, DR, yard, clean up, etc..) so I have to ask...
What is a GOOD pull behind vac system? I have about 3 acres where I am going to want to pick up leaves and would like that option of a long hose to suck out the flower beds and around the pond. I have a Kubota 7610 and would like to hook it to my 60" MMM and prefer that it does not run on the PTO of the tractor (that way I can pull it outher place with the atv and pick up leaves"

Try leaf grass vacuum. http://www.drleafvac.com , http://www.cyclonerake.com , http://www.trac-vac.com . The last one has the most different models.

I happen to have a B7610 and an AgriFab 8hp Chipper/Lawn Vac. I can tell you this much, and I suspect it will be an issue with all pull-behind Lawn Vacs, the deck-to-vac discharge hose is too short to use with my 7610. The Lawn Vacs are typically pulled with smaller lawn tractors (I use a 48" JD GT275) and the discharge hose designed and sized accordingly. I suppose you could always purchase extra hose length but I would be wary of clogging up a longer hose with the low hp model vacs. Probably have to keep your ground speed in check too, that RCK60 deck would be doing a whole lotta collecting...

Thanks for the info. The thought about the hose lenght makes good sense and I never thought of it!
Has anyone used the Kubota one or any these to render an opinion. The DR looks nice for the chipper but a bit $$$$, the trac vac looks like a nice one too but I really have no idea.

Buy a Trac Vac. I have had two a 580 that I used with a Wheel Horse 520 and then with a Kubota B2400 . With the Kubota I Found That the 54 inch Deck discharged to many clippings for the 6 inch hose . Don't get me wrong , it worked used it several years picking up about 4 acres about 900 bushels of leaves a year with it. But the ideal vac for that size deck is a 880 or what I have now a 1080 Because they have more horsepower and the discharge hose is 8 inch diameter. I have a new holland TC 33 DA that I Use with the 1080 it's great I also have A smaller version that Hangs on My three point That I use for Grass clipppings. Trac Vacs are expensive < But they are built well and they last.
