leaf collection modification for 455 Deere

I have mounted a 250 gallon plastic tote
in place of a 7 bushel bagger.It holds about 30 bushels of leaves.The inside and all the openings are reinforced with plywood.you can buy a used tote
(with a metal cage around it ,)for around $80 on Kijiji.I originally had this set up on a GT245 Deere and used Castor wheels on the tote.The front end
gets light when the tote is full,even with the suitcase weights.This is my second season using this method to collect leaves. It is working well and was
not too hard to build .

Good idea. Looks like it works well. A couple of pivoting wheels would help support the weight.

:thumbsup: That's awesome!! I have 3 of those totes that I put axles under and haul water with them. 1 of them is set up with a spreader bar I use for dust control.
