Leaf blowers : What are your non-leaf blowing uses?

My 600 has blown more snow than leaves. Works great on dry snow but no good on the heavy wet stuff.

I use it to blow all the water out of my decorative water fountain basins when it is time to clean them, it works much faster than a wet vac and gets everything out. Other uses are cleaning debris out of the garages and under the patio, blowing grass clippings off the mower and blowing water off the vehicles after a wash job.
I don't use it for blowing leaves from the lawn.

We drill a hole in the blower chute, glue in a funnel and use it to blow seeds when we are planting millet for ducks in the muddy bank.

I use mine to aggravate the neighbors. Turn about is fair play.

Lots of car lots use them to blow lighter snows off of the cars.

The guys that spray waterproofing on foundations use them to blow dust sand and gravel off of the concrete so as to assure a good waterproofing coating.

I've used mine to sweep out my workshop LOL, sure got rid of most of the dust accumulation.
Open doors and windows and blow away, at least it removes the top layers.

Another time I put in suction mode, added a length of flexible duct on blower end, stuck the blower hose out of the window and proceeded to clean up layers of gyprock plaster dust.
Being a rainy day the plaster dust simply amended the topsoil as rain washed it in.

I use mine to blow out the workshop and most of the other uses mentioned already. Another handy use is blowing myself off. I set the blower on the tailgate of the truck, and set the throttle about 3/4.

It works as good as fuel oil to get a fire going (once started). You can direct the heat where needed.

My Makita 4 stroke started the other day after months of sitting in the cold. First Pull! Very, very impressed!

Open all the doors on your car or truck, and blow out the loose dirt and dust. You can leave the floor mats in, just aim at them and they flutter in place as the dirt flies on through.

Blowing the loose gravel back onto the drive in the spring, after snow plowing is done for the season.

Clearing radiators.
