Tractor
farmall cub, ford 8n, kioti LB 1914 w/fel
I have spent many hrs on TBN doing research on which CUT to buy. I went w/ kioti lb1914 w/fel. I have 8 hrs so far and am amazed at how this little tractor will work. My main purpose with the tractor will be about 30 hrs yr with 4 ft rm, dealer said it will pull it just fine. I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has 4 ft rm with theirs. Thanks.

The LB1914 will take a 4ft mower and run with it. We put 5ft mowers behind all of ours. It depends on the brand of mower though. Different brand mowers are harder to run. We use either KIOTI brand mowers or Sitrex. Nothing wrong with other brands but, it does make a difference.

We are a Kioti Dealer in central Ky. Our experience says go with a 5 ft Rear Finish Mower for that tractor. We sell mostly First Choice and Sicma mowers.

If your talking finish mowers I think a 5 footer would be the way to go, if your talking a rotary cutter a 4 footer would be the choice. How do you like the lb1914 I was impressed with the tractor but really wanted a HST. Kioti does have an impressive line up.

Crown, I really like my 1914, going from a 8n to a tractor w/4wd, loader, 8 foward/reverse and shuttle shift I'm in heaven. No live pto but for me that's really not an issue. Most of the field mowing I do I start and don't have to use the clutch for 3 hrs. I guess everyone likes the tractor they have, and they are all great, but for the money I spent I'm really pleased with what I have. I have a 4 ft howse rotary mower and every tells me it will pull it no problem.

You definitly wont have any trouble with the Howse 4 footer my bota pulls it eaisly and your tractor is basically the same HP and a bit heavier.
Have fun and be safe. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I Sold many LB 1914 and they are using a light weight 5 Foot

Tractorhill. I have a loader, but I would like to take it off when mowing season begins. Do you think I will have balance issues even with a light weight howse 4 ft mower?
