Lawnmower Gas petal

I am looking for a petal to put on a riding mower. Is there anyone that makes such a thing? Or has ideas on how to? Its a briggs 11hp engine, im thinking of doing something with the standard throttle cable, that runs to the throttle lever. I plan on using the govener. Thanks

Find someone in your area that enters lawn tractor pulls they all use a foot operated gas petal.

Allright, thanks. Not looking to race or pull, just to speed up the old Wheelhorse i use to pull little wagons around with, reversing the pullies and i decided a gas petal would make the thing easier to control
