does kioti make a small, 15-20 hp, lawn tractor with a mid pto and belly mower, plus the rear pto for other implements?

Jon, isn't the LB1914 really the smallest tractor Kioti makes? At 20.5 HP it is the lowest HP rated Kioti tractor, but I guess in weight it is larger. Anyway either of those two would be a good choice. John

The LB1914 and the CK20 are both powered by the same engine(3C093). He was wanting a mid PTO though so he would have to go with the CK20, and if you go with the HST its a live PTO.

That's right, Jon, I hadn't thought of the MMM and LB1914. Well, I love my CK20HST even without a MMM. I'm still using my old lawn tractor for finish mowing.

thanks for the information, but what do you mean by "live power" pto..does the pto stop when you push in the clutch??
any idea how much $$$ the ck20 goes for??

I paid under 10,000 for my CK20HST. Buy the attachments with the tractor so you get them cheaper. John

The PTO does stop when you push the clutch in, but it being a HST you would never have to do this unless you wanted to engage or disengage the PTO, or to start the tractor. So in a sense it has live power to the PTO during forward and reverse operation. The gear CK20 is usually about 1000 less than the HST, I find this price difference typical in most other brands too, but this may vary from dealer to dealer.

I try never to disengage the PTO by using the clutch because I hate the racket that the slip clutch makes! Yes, it's considered a "live" PTO, but through the use of a slip clutch rather than dual acting clutch which would not make the noise. Just reach to the side and push back the PTO lever to disengage. Pushing the clutch or turning off the PTO will only allow a spin down of the blades, it won't stop instantly, so keep that in mind in an emergency. It also won't push your tractor from PTO spin if you do push the clutch, but it is going to make the slip clutch chatter! Hope this helps, John
