Lawn tractor won't start, no click, new solenoid and ignition switch

I was mowing the lawn yesterday and got off the mower to move something, the PTO was disengaged, and the mower stalled.long story short, I replaced the solenoid and ignition switch and still nothing. shorted the solenoid and it started,so the starter is good. Need help figuring this out

And yes the parking brake was engaged

Not even a click when I turn the key to start.

I'm trying to test the brake interlock safety but can't seem to get it out

It's a Husqvarna yth24v54

The Husqvarna operator manual lists these possibilities:

1. Brake pedal not depressed
2. Attachment clutch is engaged
3. Weak or dead battery
4. Blown fuse
5. Corroded Battery Terminals.
6. Loose or damaged wiring.
7. Faulty ignition Switch
8. Faulty Solenoid or Starter.
9. Faulty operator presence switches.

However, based on your post, we can rule out 1, 7, and 8 for the time being. Maybe even 3 and 5, but I'd want to take a look at them anyway.

This wiring diagram should help you locate areas to probe with a volt meter.
