Lawn sweeper

Hi,

I have a agrifab 44 inch sweeper. Products > 44" Lawn Sweeper
It works well but I would love to have one that is 6 or 7 feet wide. Anyone know of any that are made this wide?

I've been looking for a sweeper that is between 60" and 72"...so far, no luck.

It would probably be expensive to do so, but you could fabricate something like this from three narrow sweepers.

Wow three of them. That would go quick but may be a bit of a hassle. Sounds like there are not any options for a wider single sweeper. I can understand that I guess. Was just sweeping wet clippings now and it gets heavy to unload. If wider and heavier a different unload method may be required.

How much do you want to spend?

How about one of those gas powered vac trailers, then fab up a wide intake on the front of it?

Yes that would work but then another engine to maintain. I really like the simplicity of the sweeper. Also the sweeper does not get everything like the vacuum would. I never fertilize my lawn but try to leave some clippings. I just like to get the clumps and thick piles. Has work well for many years.

I think mine is 5 years old and is a 42" and it really doesn't do very well on grass clippings and I've about wore it out dragging it around. I've adjusted the height all over the place. JUST Doesn't work very well. NO more lawn sweepers for me. bjr
