Been meaning to join since getting the new B3030HSDC just before the Good Friday snowstorm. Just now got the prerequisite photos to post.
Thought about the B3030HSDCC,but couldn't see almost $400 for the rear wiper, defogger, and 60 amp alternator. Traded off a 1992 B17540HST with FEL,MMM,and 60" front snowblower. Wanted that cab!
So the Good Friday snows came and there I sat with the blower on the skid and a motor with 2 hours on it-no,
I didn't blow snow with it,but sure wanted to.
LAWN KING-Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

Timber-Thank you for the welcome and compliment on the unit. I'm always amazed at the good, interesting topics here at TBN. Often times I don't even log on,just reading the posts and replies is satisfying enough. Good Day.

Well thank you Lawn King. May I ask, could your opinion be swayed just a little since you are running about the same equipment? Thanks again.

The 3030 is a great all around machine, lots of power, strong fel and 3 point, not too heavy and the cab is sweet. Good luck with the new iron.

The new 3030 seems to be all that-power,size,that wonderful cab. Love it so far,but have been too busy working to use it much. The snow has finally left. Now I'm going shopping for some rear implements. Thinking about box blade, landscape rake, and back blade. I'll surely be broke by then.
The cab will certainly improve snowblowing the old way-check out the attached picture of the B1750 in action.

That 1750 was a great little rig, what a shame you had to trade it. I had a (paid for) b7500 w/302 fel, curtis cab and 2650 front snowblower, i also had to trade in to jump up to my 3030. I really wish i had gone an extra year on my kubota loan and held onto the 7500, hindsight is 20 /20 right.

The B1750 was a just fine unit. I was amazed how well it handled the B2660 front snowblower, for a 20 HP tractor. Unless the snow was really heavy or deep,it would cruise right along flat out in low range-3 MPH.
The real issue was it was simply time for a cab. Nothing available from anybody except Jodale-Perry or Laurin, those $4000-5000 Canadian hard cabs. Nice cabs, but I just couldn't rationalize that kind of investment for that value of tractor. So I traded it for the factory cab. Just couldn't get anybody interested in giving me enough for the whole package. everybody wants a mower and loader, but they just don't appreciate snowblowing, and the price of those front blowers. Thought about keeping the 1750,but couldn't justify that either. But now I need a lawnmower as the 3030 is too big for my mowing chores. But the cab, climate controlled, and no exhaust fumes, well,it just doesn't get any better.

I'll ad my .02 I love my b3030hsdc. I just received my thumb for it from the brown santa today. Can hardly wait to put it on next week and try it out. What can I say, I am easily amused...
