Well, I was working onthe farm all morning, and had my 660 w/ 1-arm laoder out moving round hay bales, and decided it was the perfect opportunity to move that spare 1-arm laoder off the trailer where it has sat since thanksgiving, and actually attach it to my 850. Took me ALL day.. should have been a 30 minute job!!!

Here are some pics.

Looks like you have some nice weather down there.

Onearm loaders still look ungainly to me. It seems like every time you put the bucket down, you should watch for three cherries to show on the dashboard and win a loader bucket of quarters.

Morning Soundguy.
"should have been a 30 minute job!!!"
It always seems the easy jobs takes the longest...more so when one gets older.

That's nice collection of tractors and attachments...maybe one day you'll share nice line up pics...hint..hint. ;)

As my father once said, "You're never finished with a job until you bring out every tool you own."

Chris, I had one of them on an old style 4000, same as the 800 series and if anyone can mount one the first time in 30 minutes I'll bow to them. I never did figure how to do it the easiest, I always had to put a bottle jack under the pecker, or whatever you call the part that is on the loader frame, then turn the wheels and try to back away. Most of the time I ended up knocking it off the jack and the next time I wanted to hook up I ended up using my dad's tractor and boom pole to hook it back up.You must be better than I was at it, coarse I never had a level spot to sit it on, while you on the other hand can't find a hill within an hours drive, HAHA, later, Nat

Yep.. weather is bouncing betweent he 50's and the 70's. My grass has come back and my fruit trees think it is spring.

The 1-arm loaders kinda remind me of a fidler crab.

As unganly as it is.. it will pick up a round bale of hay no problem!

I actually did the drive in and back up thing.. and had the frame hanging from the other laoder.. but I got in a hurry and made a few mistakes.. like.. forgetting to remove a headlamp.. forgetting to remove a bumper.. forgetting to clean and chase the hole ont he bottom of the tranny bellhousing, BEFORE trying to install the lower bracket... etc.

Yep.. flat as a pancake!
