latest projects: woodworkin and a sprayer platform

After spending the winter mos. working on the wife's fridge surround I told her she'd have to finish painting them, I'm going to piddle with my tractors.

With the growin season starting a month early here, I'm way behind with outdoor chores and the weeds are takin over. Bought me a sprayer from northern and built me a platform for my 455. The battle is on!

Curious as to why the spray tank is mounted so high? I'd worry a bit about the weight when full riding that high causing instability. But you will find out how it goes.
Is there a boom planned to disperse spray, or all by the wand?

I made the height of the platform adjustable with telescoping box tube. The sprayer has a broadcast nozzle capable of spraying 14' wide and a spot spray wand.

The sprayer in the pic is about 2' off the ground and the pattern is about 14' wide

Is it 30 gal tank?

It's a 26 gal. tank , sorry about the pics, tried to put more on but some kind of " error " prevented them from posting.
