Well, I ran the people off that was moving the big trees and stumps a few months after Katrina because they were doing so much damage to grass and sprinklers with skid steers and figured I could move most with my tractor. Finally got the last big stump a year later with my trusty tractor. Just had to get the right implement on the back to keep my back wheels on the ground. Heavy rear blade has more than one use for small tractor.

Way to go! That thing looks more than huge in the first pic. Glad to hear thats the last of them.
Now, if you had a grapple on that bucket you wouldn't need that tacky looking nylon strap holding the stump in place.
And it would be so handy picking up fallen limbs and such in the future. Since the tractor saved you the cost of paying someone else to tear up your place while cleaning things up, doesn't it deserve a new implement or two? Talk to your finance manager and get yourself a fun new toy as a reward for all your hard work. My tractor is a 29, and the grapple on the bucket about doubles its usefulness.

Good job Pat. What is the maximum lift advertised for your FEL? I know that must feel good to get it done - - Congratulations on being able to pick it up! I had some stumps that I had to push/roll down my drive for FEMA to collect. daTeach is right, a grapple would have been soooo nice. But with my BX it would have been pretty limited. I've warned my wife that if we get another big storm I'm trading up for a bigger machine with a grapple.
