Thanks for the pictures, it looks like it is a good fit compared to some of the other companies styles. Did you install it yourself or was it dealer installed?
Thanks

I posted the following information some time back... many additional details.. have a look
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-buying-pricing/156901-m59tlb-laurin-cab.html

Installed without issues. ROPS comes off... Cab goes on in it's place.

I have modified a few things not to my liking. No major issues. Cab is noiser than others on the farm. Massey Cab on a 3200 series is much quieter.

I would do it again. Plow snow all day in shirt. I remove the doors in the heat of the summer.

That's sure one good-looking cab. I remember when you got it. And thinking at the time that if Kubota built a factory cab they would do well to make one as nice. Nice to hear a report on how it works.

I also like to modify things. The next project on our M59 is to put a proper vertical stack on the exhaust. The idea being to maintain about the same back pressure while getting the fumes + noise up and away from the operator. I wonder if that would help the noise in the Laurin cab? The factory method of aiming the exhaust at the front wheel so that it bounces back in the operator's face is just plain weird.

Luckily the weather is moderate where we live so a cab isn't a necessity - although I admit that a windshield would be nice during blizzards.

The M59 continues to amaze everyone with just how strong it is and how much work it can do. It's a real tool.

I am considering purchasing a Laurin cab with the backhoe enclosure for my B26 next year BandDcabinet. I am curious as to how long it took you to install the Laurin cab on your M59?

8 to 10 hours. I'm not fast but work at a steady pace. Biggest issue is the weight liftiing the cab in place. Fit w/o any issues.

Laurin cabs are very high quality, they will dent your bank account!

I am wondering how the overall height of the tractor compares with the cab verses the ROPS.The reason I am asking is that I am considering buying an M59 with a Laurin cab and I am not sure if it would fit through my garage door.According to the Kubota website the M59 is just over 102 inches to the top of the ROPS.My door is 105.5 inches so it would just fit if I lowered the BH.That is with ROPS but this tractor has a Laurin cab so I am not sure of the height.Kubota does not offer a cab for this tractor but after checking the website and looking at other tractor specs is seems that cab tractors are generally lower in height than the same model with ROPS.I don't know if the Laurin cabs are lower or not.
