I am thinking of building a landscape rake for a cat 0 3PH garden tractor that I have. One of my primary applications is to rake horse manure from around my hay ring. Does anyone have an affordable source for the spring tines? Everything else that I need is in stock in my shop and ready for welding. Thanks in advance.

I used the single hole tines and saved a $ on each. I needed 36. It is less of an issue on a smaller rake. The real time saver was not having to drill the other 36 holes. I tack welded strips of 1" flat bar between the tines to keep them from wiggling and used the single bolt. Tine spacing is 2"OC. 4x4 3/16 angle works well. Cut a 2' length and place it at the center with the "L" flipped to form a box section and you have the structure to mount your pivot through.

Shaley had 1" flat bar handy, I had lots of taps and 3/8 bolts so I used the 2 hole tines from Agri-supply. I already had a back blade which drops off the 3 point assembly pretty easily, so I just switch back and forth between the blade and the rake.

I built a 5' rake a few years ago and just went to my local township building and asked if they had repaled the ones on the road grader lately.... well they had and just gave them to me, I pulled it with a ford 1310 and now have a kubota b7510 works great and have an angling cylnder on it. cats meow. Ken

I used the Agri-Supply 2 hole tines on mine, they worked really well at a reasonable price. When I called them looking for specs for my design phase, the rep I spoke to E-mailed me the manufacturers drawings and even offered to send me one free of charge to test/try. I have had some good dealings with Agri-Supply.
