I believe that the blades call for a 1/16 flat land in the edge.

If you re-read your cutter manual, I think you'll see it's a 1/16th bevel, rather then a flat.

The bevel on the blades of my woods Rotary are much more than a sixteenth, and they do specify a flat on the cutting edge of 1/16".
