I have a QH15 with the floating top link to use with my Land Pride RCR1860. I am hooking it up according to the instructions by letting the two links (implement and floating) dip half way into upper hook on QH15. Somehow, some way, my rear braces on my cutter are bending. Didn't think much of it until one broke and I order a new one and it was straight! Didn't realize they should remain straight, just thought that was the way they were to operate. People at dealership had no answers. Maybe someone here can help me.

Perhaps a photo would help clarify your setup. Keep in mind that floating top links have their limits and not meant to take the place of raising the implement for steep transitions.

I remove the hook and also make sure the pins to hold the floating links is small enough to swing between the mower top link supports.
