Lady Driving Tractor to South Pole

Have y'all seen this? Apparently, she is driving from Holland, through Africa, to the South pole.
So far, she's made it to Zimbabwe. On a 30 yr-old German tractor.

I didn't see a cab on her Deutz, so I think she's nuts once she gets to Antarctica.

She must be extroardinarilly wealthy... There are no gas stations in Antarctica, so every bit of fuel she might use, she has to bring along herself...

I cut hay with a guy that had a little bigger Deutz 10008 (i think?)aircooled cab tractor..man that thing was quiet,ran all day on fumes..you could put your hand on the engine block without burning yourself..of course i would sure hate to have to find parts for it..

Nothing against you Kubota, but I would imagine the German engineering in that tractor is generations ahead of your orange machine. I know the one I drove was a great machine, and actually still is, as the owner made it new again by giving it another paint job. It is over thirty years old and never had a wrench on the engine, transmission or rearend.

I've heard they are easy to get parts for now, big depo on the US east coast that drop ships.
