Haven't used the ignore feature yet. I just read on past the pettiness and cheap shots I see from time to time. I figure it would be just my luck to miss something worthwhile from the biggest jerks on the forum. That's not to say that after several years here, I haven't come to recognize who tends to make meaningful contributions, and who mostly noise.

I have a question about it, though. I'm assuming that if I put someone on ignore, I won't see his/her original post. But if another member who is not on ignore replies to it "with quote", the original post is then visible to me in the reply, right? :scratchchin:

Correct. And when someone on your ignore list replies to a thread you can see that that person replied. And if you wish to read that reply you just click on view reply and you see only that one without removing the block.

I was hoping my sarcasm would come though but alas.

I totally got it. I tried to answer in a serious tone to dissuade some from putting you on their ignore list.

Putting who on their ignore list? Richard, is there anybody beside you and me still posting on this thread?

:p

Time to call Kando or Sparx?

BTW, the many detours on this thread are a good indicator that the original premise was ridiculous.
