Could anybody provide a parts list or drawing (assy, exploded isometric) of the float portion of the control valve assembly for the LA680 loader? My float does not work. Bought the rebuild kit (I can't believe how much that is for a bag of springs and ball bearings!). But upon taking everything apart I think the problem is somewhere else. Everything inside looks fine but won't "mechanically" go down far enough to get the balls to detent? I bought the machine used and it has never worked so I'm thinking I have a spacer missing or in the wrong place - preventing the machine "shuttle" from moving down far enough inside the valve. Any help appreciated - drawing or parts list would be awesome. Manual is useless. Thanks

Thanks for the response. But I can't seem to get this link to work. I can see the first page of the PDF and the contents, but cant save file or view any other pages. This looks awesome. Thanks for your help.

Keep trying, I think they are having problems with their
web server.

BBadger -

Also try e-mailing the folks at Tractorsmart - if you browse around on the "Parts" page - you can request a free manual(s).

They sent me the link to these same PDF manuals for my B7610, LA352 FEL and 54" MMM in @ 5 days. I connected to the link once - then I too couldn't connect???

Funny thing - I too have lost the *detent* soon after purchasing my B7610 this spring. I took apart the lower valve assembly - can't see anything obvious - the parts explosion / drawing doesn't suggest anything other than the ball-bearing ring - but I haven't replaced it yet. I think my float still works - just won't detent there....

Hope this helps,

Dan

You are right about the price … I rebuilt mine and thought the same thing… but I guess it’s better than not having parts available…

Is your LA680 on a cab/tractor? It uses a remote valve… If yours is remote it may be the cables not adjusted (centered).

I know I have a breakdown for the remote valve, but I may have the other one also … I’ll check. KennyV.
