My neighbor asked me if there was any difference between the LA272 and LA302 loader, other than the 60 lbs lift difference. I have no idea, but said I would send it out and see if anybody knows of any major differences.

Differences between LA272 and LA302:
65 pounds difference in lift capacity.
115 pound difference in breakout force.
15 pounds difference in net weight.
Relief valve setting at 1900 to 2000 vs. 2100 to 2200 psi.
Same cylinders and valve.

I've often wondered why Kubota offers the two different loader models with such similar specs to fit one machine (B7500, the 7400 uses the LA272 only) . I'd be curious to see both and do a side by side comparison. Maybe there are differences in the mounting or the subframe that might make one a better choice than the other.
