LA1353 Loader Arm Reinforcement or Repair?

They certainly reinforce the knee in loader booms a lot better than they used too. The first generation of loaders designed to clear big mfwd front tires all seemed to have cracking problems.

I wonder if he changed the cylinders and the plates are to accommodate that change, Do the pin diameters and cylinders appear to be stock and match Kubota specs?

I think CANdiyMXER was on the right track - 1/4" bigger cylinder diameter might lift 3500 lb instead of 3000 ? Maybe the reason the machine was for sale - it doesn't comfortably handle the loads the owner needed it for.
