I have a 2010 LA 145 with the 22 hp B/S engine. The brass "jets" keep dropping out of the fuel tube, part MIA10298, and end up in the bowl. This seems to make the engine hard to start. These "jets" are not shown on the parts look up. My question is how do I get them to stay inserted into the fuel tube? I have tried two different adhesives but no stay so far. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Are you trying to order parts through John Deere or B&S? For the engine, you can look up no. 407777-0188-B1 on the B&S website. Their parts support is very good for these engines and you may be able to find much more detail. I'm not familiar with the "jet" you are discussing, but it may be a brass "orifice" rather than a jet and be interference fitted into the hole. That's just a thought, because I'm not expert.

Here's Briggs & Stratton's carburetor IPC. Can you identify your part on this diagram?
