I have a yanmar L A 9HP air cooled diesel.I've been working on getting the governor set.I tried every setting and now i don't think it's the governor.My problem is my throttle is so touchy 1/16 inch will take it from idle to very high revs.Yanmar says the governor would not have an internal problem.Does anyone know what could cause this.I want to run @ 1800 RPM.I either get motor wanting to stall or revs too high.I'm at my wits end(which according to my wife i don't have far to go).
