L78 Backhoe removal and 3pt installation

I found an L48 for sale locally for what I think is a reasonable price. I don't need a backhoe but it's got one attached. I do need 3pt for my snowblower, hole auger and rotary mower.

Is it possible to put 3pt on this tractor?
How difficult is it?
Will I have to buy any Kubota specific parts to make it happen?

It's not listed on here but this is what Tractorhouse has for sale now, they all have backhoe's attached

The L48 is an engineered TLB, meaning the loader and backhoe where specifically designed for that tractor and the tractor frame was designed for heavy duty backhoe/loader work. They are sold as a unit. The tractor did come with three point arms and you can take the backhoe off to use the three point. Make sure the seller has the three point arms.

If you do not need the backhoe, you may want to consider a different tractor as you typically pay a premium for a TLB. Also, the loader is not removable on this tractor which is often handy for mowing.

If you can afford it, get it with the backhoe. You will find out over time that you will need it more than you think.

I have an L48, and it's not bad taking the backhoe off and on. Just make sure that you have the book handy when you do. It has helped me tremendously and knocked my time down to a couple of minutes each time.
