Tailrotor,

You know you have big problems when you have to decide if your going to move the F250 Superduty or the Mustang to get the L45 out of the garage! Nice line up of machines you have there:thumbsup:

Martain sometimes it's a hard choice. Lol!! But either way it's fun. That's my old superduty 2008 I purchased a new 6.7 diesel this past march.

What a beast it is.

Yes that is a tooth bar. And I got it when I got the tractor. I believe it was around 250 bucks. But I am not 100% he throw it in with the purchase. If you are planing on doing any kind of digging with front bucket you need it.

Makes a lot of difference in the digging. Plus it is bolt on you can take it off when you want. I would also recommend the aux rear remotes if you have not got them already.

I have a top and tilt, and brush hog that I do a lot of work with and this makes life easy changing implements around on the job site. Also Pats easy change system. Two thumbs up!!

I will ask but the dealer already feels he has bent over enough on this deal. I did get the 3 rear hyd remotes.

That is why I built three garage doors on my shop. One for the truck or as my wife calls it "the toy hauler", tractor and skid steer. I guess the truck is going to get kicked to curb for the L45 when it shows up.:D

I have three barns, one at my house which is a 40x40, a horse barn which is about 50x30 but is usually filled with hay so not much room for goodies, and one up north which is 30x40 - all of them are FULL. The boss says I can't get anything new until I have room to store it:(

Yea I kicked my wife's truck out when the L45 came home. But that's over putting up a pole building this spring and moving it in there along with all my equipment.

I kindof have the same problem, barn and shop are full. I would like to put up one more building to keep all my equipment in and get them out my race shop (not racing anymore) so I can use the lift I bought three years ago that is still in the box. But, I made the non-reversible sin of telling my wife the last building I built would be the last I would ever build. I really thought that, so she let me build a Hog palace for my 2011 Limited, it has its own 25x30 stick build garage that nothing else is allowed in (I was afraid of it getting dinged up in the car garage). Another building would cost a whole lot more than the building itself.

After a rough start at the local dealer (I am sure he did not take me as a serious buyer), I have spend several weeks of searching (including sole searching becasue I had to sell it to my wife first) getting quotes around the country, I have finally came full circle and brought a L45 from my local dealer. Hope it will be all I need vice all I want (started the search wanting a M59). With only 6 acres of hedge/scrub maple and general undergrowth, I keep coming up with the thought M59 is more than what is needed. I also need to use the tractor around the barn to clean up and move hay, 59 would have been overkill for that. A few years ago, I sold my JD310 becasue it was too big, althougth it would move dirt with the best of them.

I think I managed a ok deal based on my reserach, I agreeed to $38,850 for a L45 with frt hyd, rear hyd, 3pt hitch bars (which I could not believe did not come standard), hyd BH thumb, QA 18" BH bucket, hay spear, 48" pallet forks, first service (only a oil change), two hyd filters, full of fuel, waxed and delivered.

Can hardly wait to break it in.:)

I got the same model just bought it. And I love it I can't wait to start doing jobs next summer :)

Congrats on the L45! Very nice tractor and actually the one I was heavily considering for some time but the extra $6k from the MX5100 with BH I purchased could not be justified for me. I think your price though is excellent. The lowest price I could get up here in Ontario was $41,900 and that was a bare bones L45.

Arrived at noon today, minus a new BH bucket (dealer will bring it and install when it comes in, he wanted me to have the tractor over Christmas since my wife told him this was my Christmas present).

Here are some pictures, I put about 2 hours on it after he unloaded it, thumb is nice (the one I rented did not have one), makes it easy to clear brush and pull up small trees. Will be up bright and early tomorrow digging up something on my property.:D

Well, I have 20.9 hours on it since Friday (since it was a Christmas present, I put about 8 hours on Christmas day). Much easier to move around in the woods than the JD310.
