Tractor
Kubota LX331HSDC (hers) and L45 (mine), RTV1100 (hers)
After a rough start at the local dealer (I am sure he did not take me as a serious buyer), I have spend several weeks of searching (including sole searching becasue I had to sell it to my wife first) getting quotes around the country, I have finally came full circle and brought a L45 from my local dealer. Hope it will be all I need vice all I want (started the search wanting a M59). With only 6 acres of hedge/scrub maple and general undergrowth, I keep coming up with the thought M59 is more than what is needed. I also need to use the tractor around the barn to clean up and move hay, 59 would have been overkill for that. A few years ago, I sold my JD310 becasue it was too big, althougth it would move dirt with the best of them.

I think I managed a ok deal based on my reserach, I agreeed to $38,850 for a L45 with frt hyd, rear hyd, 3pt hitch bars (which I could not believe did not come standard), hyd BH thumb, QA 18" BH bucket, hay spear, 48" pallet forks, first service (only a oil change), two hyd filters, full of fuel, waxed and delivered.

Can hardly wait to break it in.:)

Will have pictures at the end of the week, just had knee surgery. Afraid to ask the wife to go to the shop to take pictures, just makes her ask why I need all my stuff.:D

They already have it and most of the extras are installed, just waiting to get the BH bucket and some other things. Hopefully, Friday I will be able to dig a big hole in my toybox area and see what it is capable of.:D

I hope you enjoy your L45 I sure have. It has been one of the best pieces of equipment I ever bought.

Not to big and not to small to move around. I have not found anything it won't do with it reason of the size of the tractor.

Your going to love it

I have owned mine for about 2 years now and have about 200hrs on it. Not one problem. Here is some more in action pictures.

One more thing I would recommed a grapple for your tractor. Its the best attachment I have bought so far and use it all the time.

Mine is a 5ft AMBO medium duty. Works great.

Thanks for all the pictures, I hope to have mine delivered tomorrow. Still missing the BH bucket QA, I hope they get it in.

I have a root grapple that I bought for my SS that I plan to use, it is a little heavy at 600 lbs but should be ok.

Your grapple will be fine. Mine is about 450lbs and I can say thats just about what the front bucket weighs. It really shouldn't effect your lift at all and the front hydraulics on the L45 is strong.

Tailrotor, I think I see a tooth bar on your bucket. Did you get that from the factory? What does one cost?

Kubotatoy

Yes that is a tooth bar. And I got it when I got the tractor. I believe it was around 250 bucks. But I am not 100% he throw it in with the purchase. If you are planing on doing any kind of digging with front bucket you need it.

Makes a lot of difference in the digging. Plus it is bolt on you can take it off when you want. I would also recommend the aux rear remotes if you have not got them already.

I have a top and tilt, and brush hog that I do a lot of work with and this makes life easy changing implements around on the job site. Also Pats easy change system. Two thumbs up!!

Tailrotor,

You know you have big problems when you have to decide if your going to move the F250 Superduty or the Mustang to get the L45 out of the garage! Nice line up of machines you have there:thumbsup:
