Last fall I had a thread here about my PTO slipping in my Kubota L4400 with only about 100 hours. It was still under warranty and they replaced the PTO clutch but it took them 2 months to do it.
Now that grass cutting season is back and I am using my cutter again, I noticed that when I turn on the PTO it takes about 1 or 2 seconds before it starts turning but then it appears to work OK. Before it broke, It seems like I remember the PTO starting to turn the instant I let up on the clutch.
It is no longer under warranty and I am afraid that the PTO clutch might be going out again because they did not fix it right.
Does your PTO start turning the instant you let up on the clutch or does it hesitate a second or two?
Any ideas?
